Last year I attended a IABCA dog show and saw that they did not have typical Am. Showline dogs and it was a very laid back owner handler type of crowd with some funky breeds. Schutzhund is my number 1 priority with my girl but I thought it might be fun to try a show just to see how we would do- no harm no foul and a ton of socialization. So we entered last May when she was 6 months old and kicked butt - 2 group 1st & one Best In Show. So we entered again now that she is 12 months here is the picture from that show. We did.... just ok & had fun.... no big wins but the judges comments about her were very favorable (yet slightly contradicting, one judge said her chest was well sprung and another said it was slightly underdeveloped.....) I'm not sure how to go about doing it but I would like to have her breed surveyed in the future. So if you feel like it let me know what you think of her. BTW her "natural" stack is way nicer but I don't think it's too bad for an inexperinced handler and a young dog....

What is IABCA? Please tell us more.
Your girl is very pretty. I usually think of "sprung" as in well sprung rib cage. They may have been speaking about two different parts of her chest.
She has lots more development to go. She is still young. My boy is 14 months old and suddenly he is looking adult.

Here is the IABCA (International All Breed Canine Assoc.) link http://www.iabca.com/
Here is some of what they say on their site-
The International All Breed Canine Association of America (IABCA) began more than twenty years ago with the intent of making an International "UCI" Championship Title available to the American public while not exposing the dogs to the danger and inconvenience of international travel. To accomplish this, an association was formed with an International Association of dog clubs headquartered in Germany, the Union Cynologie International (UCI). The UCI organization has been in existence for over 30 years. There are many countries, throughout Europe, North America and the Far East, represented in the association, making it a truly International Organization. Through this International Organization (UCI), International Titles are awarded to dogs who meet the requirements.
IABCA shows are held in accordance with the regulations and guidelines that have been established by UCI. These guidelines provide for a WRITTEN CRITIQUE FOR EACH DOG ENTERED and a rating number of how well the dog conforms to the International "UCI" breed standards. The International 'UCI' standards are based on the 'country of origin' for each breed, if possible.
