Dante..I still miss you - Page 1

Two years ago today I lost my Dante to hemangiosarcoma.  I know alot of you have already seen my tribute but I post it on every year in honor of my best friend. It's about 24 min long just as warning.   He was the light of my life.

I'm sorry for your loss!  I know how it feels, I put down my 14 yr old this past spring, she's sleeping in my flower garden by the roses, so we will always be together.

What a beautiful tribute to Dante.  It is apparent the special bond that you two shared.  Wow!

I don't think his tail was ever still throughout the video.  It was constantly wagging - no matter what .  I loved how you went to pet him/praise him (maybe at the judge's evaluation) and he rolled over onto his side.  Like he was saying - "just a quick belly rub, mom". 

What wonderful memories of Dante that you have and I want to thank you for sharing the video with us. It was truly a touching video and you could tell that he was the light of your life.   I am so sorry for your loss.

Thanks so much for watching it. I really appreciate it.  I also appreciate the compliments.  Just really missing him today.  He loved rolling over during critiques lol....:)

Thank you guys so much for your kind words, it means a lot to me. 

I too watched in tears all the way through. I wish I were talented enough to make such a fine tribute to my Onyx, gone 6 years now, but still as fresh in my mind and my heart now as then. If I didn't believe in Rainbow Bridge I wouldn't have been able to go on when he died. It was and still is hard even believing as I do.

That was a very nice tribute for a great dog.  I can see the great bond and love for each other that you two had. Sorry for your loss.

I too have loss a dog during the holiday season. Tonka was put to sleep in 12-14-2004.

my little yorky pom mix passed early this morning.i sat up with her all night .i know she was a mix but she had a brave heart .ive lost many over the years .it never gets easyer.one thing i do know karmen, Dante will always live in you heart and in your mind .sorry for your loss. keep him in your dreams.       kindly wuzzup.
