Random videos of random competitors taken when I felt like it (better than nothing I guess).

These files are pretty friggin' big, so DSL/cable or better connection is absolutely needed to go anywhere or see anything. The best way to save it is to right mouse click on the link and choose "Save Target As", save it on your hard drive then view it after it's fully downloaded. Just clicking on it will take forever with the "buffering" message.

I am sure that it will be greatly appreciated by those who did not have a chance to attend, as well as those who did!

Thank you!!

Thanks for the great video's!

Sure, my pleasure. Now that I am thinking back, I should have filmed more as there were som truly great dogs out there. One of the reasons I didn't is I had to look at the camera LCD screen the whole time, to make sure the camera stays focused and on target that I really didn't get to see the dogs I was filming at all (except, of course through the camera screen). Then I said screw it and watched it "live" since that's the whole point of being there.

So glad that Larry Vinzant that trains at my club did great with Carlo Vom Floydhous! Very proud of him and I told him that last night. Carlo had a good year this year, lots of big events like Nationals and WUSv with great results.

Congrats to Dave Kroyer and Rasta for the 3rd place, wanted him to win it all, though.

Carlos Rojas had a very nice dog, too.

The dog I was most impressed with was Mike Diehl's dog Erri. Not a "flashy" dog, but "take care of business first" type on the field.

Rocky Garmelhaus, Dave Kroyer Rasta's littermate is also a great dog. A little mistake in obedience cost him probably a much higher ranking. I don't remember exactly but he either dpwn out of motion when he was supposed to sit or something to that effect. Great dog.

Dana Palumbo is also a great gal and did awesome with Nando. Her dog is little on the bigger side, a powerful animal. Yet, she was so nice and gracious with him, I kept telling to people around me - Look at that petite lady whipping that big ass dog! And she did and did it great.

The judges were fair and consistent (haven't watched tracking at all, so no comment there, but I am sure it was up to par).

Hutto facility is really great and they did an excellent job making sure everything was running smooth. let's hope more of those bigger events come to our neck of the woods.

Sure, I will say hi for you tomorrow. I have seen Lago actualy do the whole blind search routine, courage test etc... just last night! The old fella Lago still has spunk left in him, I can tell you  that and I like the dog, too.

Hello again. No, I have never seen her work, but I am always pleased and very glad when I see a showline dog like Lago do Schutzhund (and do it well, despite his age).  With working bloodlines, it is always expected - just another damn sable biting the sleeve, but I am always in a better spirit and a good mood when I see a red and tan saddleback do a great courage test.

I don't really care one way or the other about their "looks", as I favor, prefer and like sable, wolf-ish looking GSD, but am delighted when show dog gives a good fight.

And yes, it is Karlo, with a K, spelling is different, pronounciation is the same, my mistake. Myah looks like a beautiful girl, too.

Sorry you can't really see the videos but they are truly huge, 40 or 50 Mb. With dial up it will literally take you 2 days to dowload and watch just one of them. You can cosider going DSL, they are not that much more expensive than dial - up. I believe it's 19$ per month for SBC DSL line or maybe even less now. I think dial up used to be like 10$ a month, I don't know what is it now (I switched to DSL in 2001).

Plus, it also frees your phone line as well. Believe me, if you switch to DSL or even cable, you'll always wonder why didn't you do it sooner...
