We could use something to replace Gucci in the US. Looking at Kaluv's pedigree I'll bet this fellow can work.

I have been watching Kaluv for awhile now. I plan on driving down and breeding with him. I know the owner by phone only and her trainer, Russ. They are really cool. With kennels you hear good and bad. But I see for myself. Lida (owner) is very nice and has a whole lot of knowledge. I will be doing business with her and Russ real soon. They both tell you like it is. I can respect that even if I do not agree with everything they may say. I do not know everything so I listen and try things out that they say.

I have seen this dog work and he IS an impressive dog in protection!  Alot of power and monster grips!  I watched Russ work him on the round table but didn't get to see any obedience that day, I am sure it is good though.  Very nice clear headed dog too.

You can bet if Russ does it , it is superb..I have a V Nax v Bullinger girl and I have seen Russ work. He uses tables and he is one of the best.

I know Lida, Russ and Kalev and had the pleasure of knowing Gucci also. Great people and super dogs.

Kalev is the whole picture of what a GSD should be. Strong work, excellent pigment and very good conformation. I leased a bitch to Lida for Kalev and will pick up my pup soon. It is a great litter and Lida has them priced way below their worth because of economic crisis. Check out the litter at http://whirlingthunder.com . Glad to see it's a "showline" dog too!

I plan on breeding my female to him when she gets titled. I have some work to do in 2009. She is working on her BH. I am going to talk to Russ for a little help with her.  Her bitework is pretty good. But I have never been through a BH routine so I am missing a couple of steps. I have been trying to find a trainer but the nearest one is 3 hours away. Since the gas prices are down I can make the trip more often now. So wish me luck...I need it. I do want GUCCI in my bloodline.

I have seen him in person, he is wonderful to watch work (he was a young pup when I saw him) I am not that into showlines and do not know much about them, but he is one gorgeous dog. I also saw Gucci several times and I think that Kaluv looks alot like him. Very nice head! That picture does not even do him justice.

I wonder what they have planned for him. He has the potential to go very far. I most definitely will get a breeding from him. I am very specific about what I want. I have spoken to to Lida and Russ. They are good people. I wanted to see their other Gucci son, Anakin-He is Ursus free alternative bloodline. Like I said I have been watching this kennel for a awhile. I do have to drive down and see for myself. I live a few hours away...so not that far.- You would like my girl Zissa vom haus Yu. She beautiful but has a high prey drive. Her bite work was easy because she was a natural. I wish all German Shepherds were like that......
