Once again THE WRONG HOUSE.

They had signs posted on the fence.

The poor dog suffered for an hour in the yard until animal control got there.

Dog was shot 9 times and still not dead ??? WTF

Oops...'Sorry about your dead dog, we got the address wrong'

Is this really America anymore, or AmeriKa? 

Something tells me the Founding Fathers wouldnt favor such actions and might even throw another tea party..

You posted a story and I read it.

The story say's the dog bit the cop for looking around in the yard.   What if it had been a child after a ball ?

Why would the owner not control the dog?   They posted sign's so they knew the possibility was there.

I have mixed emotion's but I'm not going to go off about it.   Shit happens.

I was not an eye witness and niether were you.

If you have a dog who you know bite's please make sure you control the situation.

Sorry that no one had the courage to put the dog out of it's misery, that bothers me the most.

It's sad that the animal pays the ultimate price. In the end, who ends up being blamed does not ease the needless suffering of a dog that they allowed to suffer for an hour. It sounds unfair, but where I live if you have a dog (and all dogs will bite under the right circumstances), there is a presumption, whether you have a sign posted or not, adults or children will probably come onto your property for whatever reason and you must make certain to avoid the chances of them being bitten, even if they atre tresspassing and looking to cause mischief.

I got attacked on my own property by someone's pitbull mix that was off leash. If my dog had not gone after it, I might have been more severely injured. The owner came and hauled his dog away - then hauled ass. Did not know the guy or huis dog and I doubt I'll see him again.

You may disagree, but I did not call the cops because the guy and dog were long gone. Go find a young Hispanic male with a tan and white pitbull. Yeah. Most likely my dog would have been taken from me instead. The cops would have found a reason. Mostly they don't need one. Who would not want a free trained male German shepherd as a family if you could just take it? I've seen it happen before. The owner is still looking for it. They dumped it into a rescue because they could not get the AKC registration from the owner.

Maybe it's not as bad as having your whole family shipped off to Siberia but it still sucks.

The Police, Had The WRONG Address!   They had NO Business being there, let alone opening fire on someones pet, they have pepper spray for animals and unruly people, even tazers.

C'mon brother, youre smarter than that. The Militarization, courtesy of the ADL which trains US Police Depts across most of America is behind all of this..and it gets worse before it gets better

What it boils down to is that a lot of police officer's , not all, are just not qualified to be police.  They make mistake's.

Some are allowed to use their weapon in this manner, some are definately not.   It varies from department city by city.

It's a damned mess plain and simple.    I've witnessed this first hand.    I just took the story at face value which is all you can do with a printed story.

I see all side's here, even your's.   I agree I am less and less trusting of law enforcement these day's.   

Where did  (To Protect and Serve go) ??    Now it is all about Control and Deligate.    

Still I see the danger of a dog biting mixed with law enforcement, the risk to the public from both and the sadness of a dog being shot but not killed.   They couldn't even do that right.   And the owner having some responcability here.

Many are at fault as I see it here in this particular story.

Affirmative action, thereby allowing less qualified candidates to be chosen over those More qualified candidates  is now a problem (Indianapolis froze theirs) , as is the  Police training, which again, is sponsored from the ADL and Israeli Officials.

50 years ago, while we still had some control over this nation, this stuff would not have been acceptable and wasnt.
