SS,

I might be wrong, but it looks like it would take more work in cleaning than concrete floors.

Just a thought.

I would think it would be easier to clean than concrete.  I would love to hear feedback from some folks that have actually used this decking.  I stumbled on the same link a while back and I think it looks like really good stuff.  Would hate to buy it without some honest testimonials though...

looks too costly. you would need 18 pannels to make a 12x12 area. That's $630.  I'd look  into having concrette poured.

I ordered 3 sections to try the stuff out as resting benches to let the dogs sleep up off the concrete floor. Actually, I am not too happy with the newly epoxied concrete floor. Its VERY slick, even when dry. I worry one of the dogs will pull something screwing around on it. I may have to put another (3rd) coat on, this time with some sand for traction.

I'll post my thoughts on the decking when I get it installed and the dogs have lived with it for awhile.

It looks useful for small area's but I wouldn't want the work or expense of covering a large floor.

You might very well check into an agregate for your new painted floor.

It looks like good product. :)

If you try the sand, you could mask out just your "traffic areas" so you wouldn't have to redo the whole thing. Make sure you use sandbox quality sand, it is clean and has fine grit and IMO still able to wash off with a hose, etc.

Thanks for the suggestions. I kinda like the traffic area idea as opposed to the whole 1100 sq. ft. Funny, I haven't slipped much on the surface even wet with flat-soled shoes, but the dogs do. I hope they learn to pull their claws in before one of them hurts themself.

I shouldn't have put those covered foam pads in the runs... So much for any them being past the chewing stage. I have a lot of little tack sponges now. :-(
