Xena is now 20 months old. All is going well. Not too many vices and she's still up for anything, with confidence and workability in boatloads.
Have a click on these two videos below for some recent training...
Nothing brilliant or out of the ordinary, just good honest training.
Click on the links below to go to the videos
The first one involves the 6 foot scale jump and then some distance control exercises.

This second one is of the sendaway.

Any comments or advice most welcome....

Gary, on the send away, how does she know where you want her? You sent her and there were no other commands I heard, why did she go to that place and down? IS she looking ofr that X or? Can you send her anywhere and have you put commands on different directions once she is out?
I just love Xena's spunk, you can really see her thinking.

She is so versatile Gary and such a nice attitude. Only thing I would do to improve on this is speed up the positons in the distant control. You've done a briliant job of training her.

OK Gary, you can tell all these guys now that you are sending her to me in Toronto Canada. They are going to know sooner or later so tell me what plane and what time does she land so I can go PERSONALLY pick her up.Im looking foeward to seeing her when she arrives.

Thanks for the postive messages.
I'm like you guys in that I like to see a dog working, that loves to work. There's nothing worse than seeing a pressed and reluctant GSD. Going through the motions with clear expressions and body language that say "I don't want to be here, doing this"...
Dogs like Xena make dog training exciting and interesting and dare I say it, quite easy at times.
