Hey all,

Im thinking about entering their December trial but I was wondering what they typically track on. If anybody has trialed with them or trains with them, please let me know.

thanks emily

Emily:

Your best bet is to call Jennifer Hayes to be sure. SCSC has plenty of fields, could be either grass or dirt.

I trialed at that club a lot when I lived in that region. They always track on disced dirt. I got lots of V scores in A in their tracking fields. The helper work will also be excellent.

Probably something like this, maybe without the lines in the dirt. You can see your track for weeks.

It's never the same. Once, it was in an immature orchard. Another time, it was in a finely plowed field like moon dust. You sank into the stuff up to your knees. All you could see of your dog ahead of you was his tail!

...but its always good stuff. Show me a patch of Central Valley dirt with a track laid by a member of SCSC and I'll show you a V score damned near every time!
