Please help save my dog - Page 1

I am looking for help saving my dog. Orso is a 3 year old German Shepherd who is suffering from kidney displasia (genetic kidney failure). We are looking for a good hearted person who owns a dog of the same bloodline to become a kidney donor to save our family memeber. We have been in contact with the leading kidney translplant surgeon in the country and we have been reassured of the saferty of the procedure for the donor dog (both humans and dogs only need one kidney for completely normal life). We are open to all possibilities including buying a dog or financial compensation for the owner of the donor dog. We would also take care of all expenses associated with transportation and full recovery of the donor dog. Our dog came form Kraftwerk K9, his father was V-Ursus aus dem Furstentum Lippe and mother Amie von der Mamutsschlucht. Orso was born on December 2, 2006. Currently Orso is in critical condition and will die without a transplant. Please help us save Orso.

Alex, I would remove your phone number from the post and put an email address instead. This place can be a stomping ground for psychos with nothing better to do than harrass people.

What I meant in my PM to you was to put the big names in your dog's pedigree in the subject line so that anyone who has a dog w/similar lineage will see it and click on it. "Please help save my dog" is only going to appeal to certain people, and most of them will not be able to help you. You need to find the ones w/possible donor dogs as fast as possible.

I am sorry for what you are going through and I hope you get the help you need.

If I was in your shoes, I'd let the dog go, but I'm not and I see the other side of the coin as well, and do not judge you at all for trying to do anything and everything you possibly can to help your dog.

I would like to thank everybody who has been trying to help us and support us in this very difficult time for us. Orso is currently receiving his first dialysis treatment in New York. We are in desperate need to locate as many related dogs as we possibly can. Good luck....I know it can be challenging to find human donors, I can't imagine how difficult it would be to find a canine match. Are you taking blood samples from unrelated dogs as well? jackie harris
