Trying to keep puppy out of the pound - Page 1

Hi all, could use a little help. Here is what's going on.

A couple who both work full time jobs and have 3 children, whom in my opinion should have never had a dog, went to a pet store and bought a german shepherd puppy. The couple now are getting divorced and are trying to dump the dog.

The pup is a 6 month old black GSD puppy. He has a wonderful temp, great with kids and other dogs. Little to no training, very low drive, house trained, comes with large crate and loads of toys.

If anyone knows anybody who could give this pup a forever home or could hold on to him until a home can be found would be a truely great person. I would take him but have dogs coming out of my ears. There's no where to put him here. I have 2 rescue labs still waiting for homes.

I am located in St. Augustine FL and would be willing to drive him to GA if someone else can take him from there.

IF you could get him here I could take him and may have someone who would adopt him. However, in Florida, there must be some good options that won't cost traveling expenses......

I'm close to you and could help you out if you can hang on a couple more weeks. PM me.
