I got a GSD puppy a couple of weeks ago. She got a little sick with worms, but we have taken care of that problem. Now that is all out of the way she has found her energy and strength. With that a really bad habit of biting my WIFE and I. I know that puppies will be puppies, but there has to be a way for me to train her to NOT bite us. We have been keeping chew toys as close as possible, and I know she needs lots of exercise outside, but is there any other methods I can try? Links to other sites or personal success stories would be great. Thanks to everyone in advance.

consistent discipline is the key
when she bites make it damn clear to her that the behavior is unacceptable you could remove her from the room for 5 mins
Never smack
and make the correction short and sharp eg... NO...remove the pup for 5 mins...let him/her back in,
and keep repeating the process. every member of the family must do this AS SOON AS IT HAPPENS not 5 mins later.... immediately
this works 9 times out of 10 in my experience ........but there is always one lol
all the best

Dad,
A sharp ( no!) usually work's.
Puppy teeth will make you bleed that's for sure.
I wrestle and play fight with mine and alway's bleed before it's all over.
An unwanted bite alway's get's a NO ! and the puppy know's play time from no biting. Just keep at it.
When I have trouble convincing a (small puppy) not to bite, I shove a finger down it's throat, all the way, after a sharp (No! ) Repeat if nessecary.
The pup will look at you funny.. but this will stop the biting cold. Then wash your hand's...LOL
Strange as it sound's it has never failed to work for me.
Moon's.

I know it sound's strange but it does work...
I have even been known to bite back...lol If a pup bites too hard while playing. It's my hand not a chew toy.....!
They learn the difference.

Thank You all for your words. I will keep at the NO command and seperate her from us each time. She was also locked up at the vet all weekend so she could just be acting out a little now that she is back home. She was a an agel when I went home for lunch today. Slept right on my chest for 45 minutes. No biting either. That love trumps any biting problem!! :) Anyway, thanks for your help.

So you elevate her position by letting her sleep on your chest and then tell her she cant bite you!
Remember she is a dog not a little person she needs clear rules boundaries and limitations one of those is she must not be put in a position of domination otherwise she will DOMINATE

the finger down the trhoat works with my dogs too. so does, grabbing her by the muzzle with one hand, and giving it a squeeze, make her bite her own lips while telling her in a firm voice no! thats what her momma would do, grab her by the muzzle
