Lordy,how could anyone fall for such an obviously phony call? The Prime Minister of Canada's name they gave, was actually a Canadian singer and she didnt know the difference!!! Said he was doing just fine, when asked about him, and she obviously had no clue who the PM of Canada even is! They used another name for a govt official of Canada who was a radio personality and she obviously had no clue. The caller talked about getting together to shoot animals from helicopters and she giggled......  He said they had a lot in common because he could see Belgiuum from his house, like she could see Russia from hers! He said he loved the movie about her life, which was the porno movie made by Hustler, and she STILL didnt get that it was a prank! She giggled again!!!! HE TALKED ABOUT HOW HIS WIFE WAS SO HOT IN BED, AND SHE still DIDNT GET THAT IT WAS A PRANK?????? POLITICS AND POLITICAL LEANINGS, ASIDE, I dont know about any of you, but this is positively FRIGHTENING that someone so *blank * could end up being in such a position of power in this country!!!! Think about that! Think long and hard about it! The prankster didnt even have a french accent- it was so obviously *put on* that I was sure it was a promo bit involving Tina Fey,  and I laughed so hard I had tears rolling down my face- thought it was a teaser for a Saturday Night Live skit, BUT SADLY,  it was no skit and IT WAS, INDEED, SARAH PALIN, falling hook line and sinker for something that was so ridiculously phony...  Frightening- positively, absolutely frightening...... and this person is equipped to become President of this Great Nation, if she ever had to take over?????? OMG..........

Lets face it she is not ready for the white house....she needs MANY more years to at least become acquainted with the real issues facing America and the world before she even thinks of holding federal office. McCain got it wrong, like so many of his decisions so far, he shows himself to be extremely rash and opportunistic. I cannot see him having any rational well thought out policies, let alone gvoern America with any semblence of competency.

OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT. Please for heaven's sake, get the USA back on track.

She feels honored to be counted among the other chosen leaders of the world who've been  targeted by these famous french pranksters.

She's at least as ready as Obama. Who is running for the top job, not the veep.

That is a distinction that is often ignored. She was caught off guard, through deception, no big deal.

I did listen to it and read the transcript and got a good laugh this morning. I also found the porno promo for "Nailin Palin" and watched it as much as I could. By the way, Abhay and Captain Mike-if you want to see the "real thing" you will have to pay! I am too much of a cheapskate here!

palin is not as qualified as obama (or really anyone else who is running).  she has no true understanding of law and how to execute it, nor does she have a strong grasp of economics or national security issues.  obama is young but is very well educated in all these matters and has participated in national government, and he has shown he does more than memorize lines.

anyone can fall for a prank so i don't fault her for being pranked - not a big fan of pranks myself - so i could care less about this.  a real concern is she believes things that show her pov to be too small-minded for this job.  for example she has stated that humans and dinosaurs coexisted and this is just not true; yet after given the facts she continues to believe what she believes. normally i would say 'to each their own" because beliefs like this really don't harm anyone when held by an individual minding their own business; but she is asking us to hire her and pay her with our tax dollars.  so i think we each need to ask ourselves - how can a person, who believes something that is so clearly without merit, be considered a reasonable candidate to support the pres, be on the nat. security council, be the tie-breaking vote in the senate, step in for the pres if needed and to represent america and americans both nationally & internationally?  imo this person is not a reasonable candidate and i feel she would do poorly in each of these capacities - so i say "thanks but no thanks" to palin as well as mccain because he chose such an under-qualified person to be his 2nd.  i like mccain but we need a leader with better judgement.
