When I read about this I was livid. I hope these disgusting human beings don't get away with this. No punishment is too severe as far as I'm concerned.

These people should never be allowed near a dog again. What a way to treat your dog after 13 years of loyalty.

There are people walking this earth that are wasting the air we breath.
They are so stupid you have to wonder how they even survive.
I think 75 is old enough, maybe it's time for hammer's all round here.
Human's !

*sigh* the sad part is that this isn't a single event... simular things happen everywhere... and people look the other way.
I worked for a Vet for 25 years... one who'll never be rich cause his heart's too big... We had the unenviable job of euthanizing dogs for the Town Pound... though we changed the contract to be "dispose of" from euthanize as we tried to find home for many many of them... The local Shelter knew that if I called them we had a quickly placeable dog available, and always made room for us to send them one... and we did... everything from a 4 month old purebred standard white poodle, a year old purebred English Setter, numerous beagles and coonhounds... but the heartbreaker was one elderly Border Collie... at least 15 years old who belonged to a farm worker, and was left tied to their porch when they left the county. The farm owner turned him in, and he came to us 7 days later... I named him Shep, and the Vet put him on meds for arthritis... but after a few weeks we realized we'd never be able to place this handsome old soul and helped him to the rainbow bridge... I hope he'll wait with my dogs who have passed... but knowing his huge heart I am sure he'll wait for the bastard who left him tied to the porch....
