Does anyone test for this when they have puppies or is it something uncommon in the GSD?

All of my dogs are tested at one year and receive their CERF. (Canine eye research foundation) certification. Then yearly after that. Has to be done by canine opthamologist. Expensive though, no wonder I can't make money in dogs! Never could. Eye disease is fairly commom in certain GSD lines. Deafness is more difficult, don't know of a good test yet. VS GSD's

Thanks Pam, I know we all test the puppies for drive and all that but when it comes to health I don't see many test done for the eyes and ears specially for 8 week olds. So I thought I would ask.
