Does anyone know what this means?

20 month old

VV2 Uno vom Klausener Grund

HD: Normal

ED: Normal

ZW 74 (!)

ZB: SG JKL

Thanks,
WL Pool

 Which part of it?

Hips are normal, elbows are normal, breed rating of 74 (pretty decent) and a show rating of SG (good).  I think the JKL is a misspelling and should be KKL1

I believe the SG JKL means that the dog was rated SG in the youth class, probably 18-24.

Correction: that's the 12-18 month class.

Judy,

Thanks.  Do you know where I would find that information on the pinks?  Oh and when there is a V V 2 in front of a name?

VV2 - vielversprechend 2, meaning that the particular dog received a very promising rating in 2nd place in a puppy class (which does not count for anything).

What do you mean with "pinks"?

Hi

I assume you are talking about pink papers. If so, In the square where the dog's ancestors are listed on the upper right section acoss from the hip rating are the letters ZB and to the right of that is the show rating. Pink papers have a wealth of information and are fascinating to read.  I am not sure where the show rating would go for the dog whose pink papers you are speaking of.  I am sure there must be a place on the back where all the data is entered for the show rating.

I believe that some of the more informed members of this board can tell you a lot more than I can about pink papers.

Wow, that really is helpful.   Thank you.

I purchased a young dog from Germany that has many attributes of a German bred dog that I recently put to sleep (age/poor health).  When they advertised him these codes were used.  The breeder emailed me a copy of the German Registration papers, but they are all in German....tee heee....and I don't understand a single word.  He is suppose to be a good young dog for my needs and maybe more.  From what I have seen (video) he has the exact traits that I want I just don't understand the pink papers or any German ratings.

Regards,

Windy
