This afternoon i brought this guy home.  He jumped right into the back of my suv as if he new he is going home.

He is doing well, and will be looking for a responsible, expereinced, forever home in the next few months.

Thanks again for all the help and support.

Did the breeder remember who bought him>??  I'm curious how the heck a dog like that ended up unidentified in a shelter and if the origional owner knows??   Whatever, he's AWESOME... beautiful dog, and a great rescue

The breeder did find the owner info but the phone numbers were no longer valid.

I was so overwhelmed with the support everywhere...this was a cross country effort and could not have been done without everyones help.  I had people email & call me from all accross the US and i'm so greatful to be part of such an amazing community.

Thanks to all!

Moriah

amazing work!  he is very dignified and good looking boy hard to understand why he was slated to be killed.  neither can i imagine anyone leaving him behind but the thought that crossed my mind is perhaps he's another victim of the housing crisis - many dogs are suffering from people losing their homes.

just an fyi the search engine dogpile http://www.dogpile.com/ is giving a portion of the money generated by use of the engine to rescue animal http://www.dogpilesearchandrescue.com/?s_cid=OM396
