Does anybody know what happens in the case that Breed Survey takes place in a country outside Germany where there is no official procedure yet for ED evaluation?

The SV rules state that for dogs born after 1/1/2004 is necessary that they have ED 1, 2, or 3 in order to pass the Breed Survey. What happens if the country in which the Breed survey takes place has not established yet an official procedure for that?

I think I have read somewhere that in Spain for example the ED procedure is recognised by the SV from August 2008 and the Spanich WUSV brach have stated that this will be valid for dogs born after 1/1/2005.

So, what happens to countries that do not have yet a recognised procedure? Do the dogs have to be sent all the way to Germany for the ED x-rays?

Any info regarding the matter?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

All ED results from Spain and Holland are accepted by the SV. If you have another result from a foreign country the best way is that you call the Headquarters from the SV anf they can tell you more.

Kind regards

If a dog is breed surveyed in another country where the survey does not meet the SV requirements. The survey may only be valid in the country where it was issued.
