For open discussion:
Does anyone think that Ängsbackens Rosso (Sweden-Pierre Wahlstrom) would have, once again, kicked everyone's ass if he had been at the World's this year? He won the WUSV in 2007 with a performance of 100-97-97=294. The next closest dog had a 285. In 2006 he finished in 2nd by two points. This year at the FCI competing for Italy, with his new owner, he finished in 7th (100-91-96=287) He was highest GSD. All dogs above were Malinois.
It disturbs me that great dogs like Rosso and Merlin have been sold to other countries/competitors. If Wallace Payne was handling Merlin this year he would have placed much higher.
Oh well, so goes the dog (money) world!
