Is their a formula to calculate the size of a puppy? At what age does the pup need to be? Will it tell you the height the pup will be?
I would appreciate your help.

There is no formula. In the Willis Genetics book there are charts of what he felt was "normal" based on a very limited input of data. We must also remember that the size of the GSD has increased quite a bit since even 30 years ago. That being said, in my experience, some pups who appear small may surprise you and later grow to be consistent with the size and weight of their siblings. The same is true of larger pups who may not continue growing and "even out" to be consistent with the size and weight of their siblings.

Have to agree with Hodie,i had a puppy many years ago who was the tiniest thing i have every seen.He was so small i had to get the advice of another breeder on him.He was the first puppy in the litter with his eyes open,to walk, and always got his fair share at feeds. When i saw this puppy at 10 months i could not belirve my eyes, all my worrying for nothing. He was normal sized and an excellant example of the breed. liz
