Give him something to chew :) lol

Find something that he will like to chew so that he can exercise that cartridge works every time :).

I suggest you put that ear up.  You can make an ear template from some moleskin or a empty toilet paper roll.  Use some Tear Mender and put that all over the back of the template, let it get sticky (you may needs a few coats), then place in ear.  It will stay in place for several days, then start coming out on it's own.  Because the Tear Mender comes off with water, you can use water or some baby oil to remove it.  See if that helps provide the support the ear needs to keep it up.  If it falls, then keep putting it up.  Since the puppy is already 7 months you really want to help that ear now or it may always be a little floppy.

Very Ironic... I have a sibling to your pup, and had the same problem. I taped his ear at 5 months and it is standing. Took 4 weeks, taped for 2 weeks at a time and it stands now. I am still seeing some "give" when he runs so am adding some Knox Gelatin to his food and giving him lots to chew on. Please message me if you will with your email as I would love to see some pictures of your boy and send you some of mine as well. Overall I am very pleased with my dog and he is turning into a wonderful boy. Good Luck! and hope to hear from you soon!

what should i give him to che, the bones that i can buy from any vet or marekt that are made for dogs or any other type.

some people told me to give him a large raw bone or to get a large cow bone from the leg or something cook it well and give it to him.

if there is anything i can add to the food what would i add.

Very nice puppy and some very good dogs in the pedigree. I agree with momofbecket - your pup is now seven months old by my count. His ears should be up or mostly up. He looks like he has heavy ear leather. It's time to tape. Follow momofbecket's suggestions, although I never had any luck with moleskin. It's too weak to support heavy ears. A pink foam ladies hair roller or a bit of toilet paper cardboard roll should be glued or taped to the inside of the ear. You can use white bandage tape or clear packing tape. It will come off sooner or later. Keep taping until he gets the ear up. Some dogs just need to be encouraged to work those muscles.

You can give your dog bison or beef bones to chew. Scoop the marrow out first since it makes some puppies sick. Or give a ball joint bone, either bison or beef. I like bison bones because they are harder but I don't know if you can get them where you are. You can also massage the area around the ears to encourage muscle development. Most puppies like this massage.

Ears are cartilage and healthy cartilage growth can be encouraged with glucosamine and chondroitin. Many puppy foods include these supplements.

Has the ear ever been up? If yes, it probably went down because he is teething. But don't assume it'll come back up. Follow one or more of the suggestions above.

i'll try tto take a picture and post it here for him is ear is not totally down just a small part of it i'm afraid that is part will be just like that. he can move his ear and it is standing full normally but when he runs the top part of the ear is bouncing and moves.

i'll try taping and see what happens.

here is a pic for his ears please tell me your opinion

http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/9972/7777le2.jpg

i know the pics are bad :D but he doesn't stop moving.
as you can see from the pics that both ears are up not one up and the other is not when he is standing both ears looks great but when he moves the left ear bounce up and down.
should i make something right now or just eave the ear and the cartilage will continue growth and become stronger by time

any opinions
