Could anyone kindly inform me regarding the following?
1) If a bitch has had her first breed survey (Koerung) in August 2006 is it possible to do the repeat breed survey in October 2008? Or does she have to do the first breed survery again? And then what would happen with the second breed survey (Wiederankoerung Lbz)?
2) Can a male that is not yet 4 years old be breed surveyed for the first time? What if this male is over 4 years old?
Thank everyone in advance...

Hello,
the female which made her Koerung in 2006 is koerd for 2007/2008. So she must do her second Koerung (for lifetime) during the year 2008 (whole year). You can get one year more time, if the female is pregnant and the Koer judge will give you an certificate.
Otherwise she must go to second Koerung in 2008 (whole year). If you go in 2009 she must start again with first Koerung.
The male can do his first Koerung in age of 4years or older. He just need a SCHH (IPO) title, a show result (minimum a "good") and the AD title.

If a bitch has it's breed survey in 2006, it has to be surveyed in 2008 to get the Koerung for lifetime, it doesn't matter what month, just the year is important. If you miss a Koerung in 2008, the dog has to renew it's first breed survey all over again.
When you do the first Koerung(at what age) makes no difference, the earliest a dog can take part in it's first Koerung is the year in which it turns 2. There is no upper age limit, just if a dog is an active herding dog(HGH) or 6 years of age or older it doesn't need an endurance test to participate.
