I agree, cool show. It's nice to see those working dogs in action. I had to set the old DVR up for this show.

I thought it was pretty lame. I saw it last week and I think a monkey could handle a dog better. One guy's dog was so fat it barely fit into the trunk on a drug search. The handler practicly lead the dog to the dope several times to get the dog to indicate. The only apprehension in the one hour show was in the dark and you couldn't see anything.
I would rather watch "Antiques Roadshow" Than this.
As Blain from "In Living Color" would say, "Hated it!"

Just to add. It seemed like more talking and BS from the handlers and instructors than substance.

I was slightly disappointed, not enough action thus far, hopefully as the show progresses it will become more interesting, regardless I think it is great, I enjoyed seeing working dogs work. There was one dog on there, I found absolutely gorgeous, but I can't seem to remember his name at the moment.
I know this is a German Shepherd message board, but another show I am looking forward to is The Toughest Race On Earth: Iditarod, comes on discovery channel Oct 14th, the producers of Deadliest Catch came up with this one, that was a great show.. perhaps it is worth watching
I have 2 Huskies, so of course I am interested. I know some people think they are dumb dogs... Before I got my first workingline Shepherd, I would try to do obedience with my Husky, and he would just look at me, act like I should be the one doing the commands. Then he saw how my girl works, all of a sudden my Husky knows the obedience commands in German. Brat........ But I love them, full of personality and free spirit.
