Don Corleone

by Don Corleone on 07 October 2008 - 18:10

I was rotating my tires last night and I had my puppy out with me.  I took all of the tires off and had the lugnuts all in one of the covers.  When I went back to put the tires back on, about 12 of the lugnuts were missing and I noticed the puppy had one in his mouth.  I couldn't get to him fast enough and he swallowed it.  I am pretty sure he ate the others because he now weighs 5 lbs. heavier than in the morning.

I'm going out of town and I was going to carry him on the flight.  My  only concern or question, is whether we're going to be able to pass through security and be able to board?

snajper,

Are you saying that if it was a corkscrew or a screwdriver, the security would be concerned?  Like it was a weapon?

I'm leaving in a while and thought I might get a few opinions.

Don,

I'm sure airport security will allow him through with no problems, just explain to them like you did here.  Run him through the x-ray machine and you could probably find out for sure how many he really ate.   He must have been low on iron so you may want to adjust his feed and supplement his diet.

Just one question....

You got new  lugnuts and put them on right, if you are taking the same car?

LoL

I just thought of another problem.

Do you think it is a risk  to drive to the airport with only two lugnuts per wheel?

It's only about 40 miles and there are not alot of turns.  Mostly highway.
