GSD Help Please - Page 1

Hi everyone I am new to this site today. I moved from Cambridge to Texas some 12 years ago. I am finally in a position to puppy hunt after many years suffering from allergies!! God Bless Texas!! I had a gorgeous puppy from a small breeder in the NWest back in 1981. Sadly all paperwork was lost in my move to USA. I remember my dog's name was Ronet Faust andfrom an extensive German line of show dogs but that is all I can remember.I want to purchase a similar quality dog in temperament and looks but I am not sure where to start. I remember snippets of what I supposed to look for but thats it....its hell getting OLD! Any help would be great. The nearest kennel to me here is von Kellerhaus in Houston. Thanks in anticipation for any help or advice.

You can click on GSD Search, then enter your dog's name and see if it's in the database.  Beyond that, there's little anyone can do to find similar lines as we don't have anything specific.  As for a general search for a dog, there are many kennels listed here you can research as well as find kennels in Texas.  You can also Google kennels in Texas for some leads.

 

 

Call the AKC. They can probably do a search on your dog's name and pedigree if it was ever registered with them.
