i am looking to change my dogs diet and was quite impressed with the ingredients in the timberwolf foods

have any of you guys fed this food if so have you had any problems ?

It's excellent - but very expensive now. Before I switched to all raw I used it for about a year - then switched to Taste of the Wild which is grain free and less pricey. My dogs did well on both......no problems.

Tigermouse

Timberwolf is 79.49 euros a 33lb bag or about 108 USA Dollars over here not cheap Dog food at all

I have seen it though and it is very small kibble indeed

I feed my dog timberwolf, he loves it. Healthy as a horse, it is very pricey. Considering your dog was losing weight, why not try a bag or two?

Here is some information about Timberwolf.. web site  www.timberwolforganics.com.  Timberwolf does not manufacture their food they have had some rather unpleasant experiences with their co-packers.  First Timberwolf's owner Mark Heyword said Diamond pet foods almost put them out of business so much for Diamond they then switched to Chenago valley pet foods with not much better results   They have just signed a new co-packer agreement with Extruded pet foods who will be manufacturing Timberwolf's food in Nebraska and Kansas.

If you are really interested in Tmberwolf I would give it some time and see how this realationship with Extruded works out. Mark Heyword has admited he made some mistakes in the past but hopes to get it right this time.  Only time will tell.

I use Orijen  www.championpetfoods.com  They manufacture their own food at their own plant and are considered one of the top kibbles presently on the market.  At least they control their own destiny.  My dogs are doing very well on Orijen.

Best of luck to you.

I'm trying my male on Taste of the Wild High prairrie canine formula. It's got bison and venison in it. He likes it.  He saw his first elk and nearly spooked the herd barking last weekend. Later we saw a moose, which fortunately ran off. I should get a hunting license so I wouldn't have to buy dog food. LOL. Of course, when you are hunting with a rifle instead of a camera, the game is very scarce.

Too many shop owners I know have dropped Timberwolf due to the packaging problems.  Orijen is great, and I currently feeding Wellness Super5 large breed puppy.
