Stupid question - Page 1

Well I have a stupid question, that been bugging me for a while now, Dob and GSd's are two my avorite breeds, I was wondering if any one ever cross them together or seen a corss, and how dose it look. LoL I know is stupid question, but I just wondered how would one look, I prefer GSD'S but the hair is killing me lol :)

Thanks Two Moons. Like I said I know that it is stupid question but I never seen one, and I just wondered weather it would look more like GSD or more like Dobe. I know that it would depend, usually it depends on who's gene pool is stronger, but just wonder if any one seen one and how did it looked like.

BTW no I don't have ups litter on my way lol, and no I am not planing, or even want to cross both, I just wondered thats all.

I've never seen a Dob/GSD mix and really would not want to see yet another mixed "pure bred" dog. However,  I would imagine that the mix would resemble something like the look of the Beauceron. Maybe instead of wondering about a mutt you should look up the pure bred Beaucerons?

I've seen a Rottie/GSD cross and it didn't look very good.

A neighbour had a Border Terrier/GSD cross.

Like I said I don't want one :) If I would I would get a Dobby & GSD :), but I prefer GSd's this is why I own only GSD's. I was hopeing that since so many people on this board are into rescuing dog's than they might seen one, or have picture of one, that's all.

VomMysticalHaus, thanks one good looking dog, I am not intrested in getting new dog, or even mixing breeds, I just wanted to know how one would look. Beaucerons is one good looking dog.

My best guess,

It would look like a hound with a bad hair cut.  Any color possible and maybe a bad attitude.

I used to play this imagination thing where I bred the perfect dog, or horse, among other's.   Breeding this to that and coming up with something magical.    It would take a life time and there would be much loss.   Perhap's something along the line's of Stephanitz only more radical.   I bet many have had the same thought's.

It's not all that stupid.
