Subject: PAYMENT DETAILS

Hello,

I am glad to read from you. Am okay with the price and condition .I really need to get this right away,i am ready to pay on time.

No need of shipping it. i will like my shipper to schedule a pick up immediately you get the payment confirmed.

I would have love to come for it or see it but i must let you know that am currently out of town and  am okay with it. i just  want this as replacement.

I will offer you extra $100 to remove the ad from the posted site  to be sure you are selling this to me ok. I will be able to make payment in form of US Certified Cashiers Check or usps money order that is payable in any American banks in us dollars . I will like you to let me have information of whom i should issue the payment to.Such As :

(1)  Full Names
(2)  Mailing address, No P.O.Box   Please
(3)  Your direct Telephone Numbers(Home and Office and Cell)
(4)  Acceptance of my offer and agreement to send the balance of the money to my shipping agent Via Wester Union Money Transfer.

So that ups can make delivery of the payment on time. I will also issue an excess fund with the payment so that when you get the payment, you will have to deduct your exact amount and wire out the excess to my shipper so that he can be able to make the pick up.

I hope i can trust you with my money. When its time for the pick up, You will have to let me know the exact time and day my shipper can make the pick up of this item.Your early response will be highly appreciated.

Once you get back to me with all the above, the check will be issued out immediately and it will be sent to you .  Hope to read from you
 immediately.

Regards
Olly.

Subject: Re: PAYMENT DETAILS   Hello I'm Sorry but I DON'T take check's or money orders. Only Cash or Wiring straight to my account. Also I only sell to people I can check out by full name and address. And my dog is not an IT. So I'm NOT selling my dog to you. Francis

Lol nice answer!

It's funny how he refers to your dog as an 'item'.

Why do these people even bother with this thing;does anybody ever even fall for it?

Well he must think that I'm desperate because I haven't sold Diego yet after having him on the Database for sale for a couple of weeks now. Not knowing I'm very picky to whom I would sell my boy and turned down a couple of people who were interested in him but didn't fit in what I want for him Warm Regards Francis

I would think this e-mail is a spam... to get your adress, account and so on. I would not answer . I´ve got a lot of this e-mails. I never answered that.

People who are serious interested - they ask other questions.

by hodie on 06 October 2008 - 19:10

This kind of email IS A SCAM. Don't even bother to reply. And yes, sadly, there are people who fall for such tricks. But Francis is not going to be one of them, thankfully.

by triodegirl on 06 October 2008 - 20:10

Definitely a scam and I do know a breeder who told me he fell for it. Luckily the bank caught the fake money order before he sent his money off to Nigeria. They wouldn't keep sending out those emails if they didn't work.

by HENRY on 07 October 2008 - 09:10

Why do all scams seems to come from Nigeria?

I get an email once a month saying someone has $50,000,000,000 in a bank account in Nigeria and can I get it out for them.

I will be expecting your reply as soon as possible.

And this is my reply

HI Mate

Actually, I don't really have any items for sale.  I have an uncle who works at The National Nigerian Bank (UK) and he knows how to filter money into a secret account, but we need an overseas bank account to filter it into.  The sum will be in the region of £20,000,000 (Great British Pounds) and we will be happy to share it with you if you are willing to help, we can each have £5,000,000 (five million Great British Pounds).  Please do not tell anyone about this offer, just send me your full name, address, national insurance number and credit card number (including PIN) along with your bank account details and we will arrange the transfer and all you would have to do is pay the fees involved.

Please reply asap.
