Buying Dogs Online - Page 1

Hi,

Has anyone bought a dog from any of the following websites?

Are these reputable websites?  Do you have any suggestions when buying online (I won't be able to check the dog myself)? Also, if you know of anyreputable websites, please list them.

EurosportK9 has one of the best rep's around. I don't buy my dogs online, but if I would ever want I would not have a problem using Eurosport

i bought my female from Jinopo.

Everything went smooth, and she is an excellent dog!

Harley, that's really interesting... I've been looking at this website.  Where do you live and was you dog expensive... sorry... don't mean to pry, I won't be offended if you decline.

I bought one from Arditi Canine Agency and all went well.  I would have no problem considering griselda or eurosportk9, I have not read enough about the others you mentioned to comment either way.   

Griselda...is a very good web-site and have very good dogs...and they'll give you an HONEST opinion of the dog....If you'd like to PM me or e-mail me I'll give you my honest opinion on how I buy dogs without personally knowing the people...

I purchased my first dog from Eurosport; he was everything I asked for and more.  I'd definately recommend them.  I know people who've bought from Jinopo, they too are very good and have quality dogs.  My bitch originally came from them although I did not buy her directly from them she too was very nice.

The other websites you mentioned I never heard of so I can't say if they are bad or good.  As for prices it really all depends on what you're looking for.  If you want a titled dog then yes you will pay more obviously.  If the pedigree is exceptional that also will drive a higher price tag.  Right now the dollar is not worth squat in Europe and doesn't go far so I'm noticing from speaking to others that the dogs are costing more today than when I bought my dog a few years ago.  The same dog I bought a few years ago would cost me much more today.  With the price of fuel skyrocketing it has made airlines charge more and since our dollar is worth less in Europe the breeders have to charge more to make up the difference.  But you do get what you pay for.
