The movie, which has Chloe (The Star Chihuahua), going south of the border and falling prey to a Mexican dog-fighting ring. (Bad things happen when you leave the U.S. of A.!)
Fortunately, Chloe meets Delgado (voiced by Andy Garcia), a resourceful German shepherd, with a mysterious past. There's also a scary Doberman named El Diablo (Edward James Olmos), a computer-generated rat and iguana con team, and a hilarious visit to a secret civilization. Without going into detail, this place and its inhabitants are so well-realized that you wish the movie spent more time there
