Too funny!! On a serious note..Its too sad that the gsd is not often used...in my region of the country anyway.While I was at work(Walmart)..An individual had brought in a golden retriever pup for training.When I asked her how many gsds were being utilized..She said none and stated that the breed has too much bite.They had tryed a few out but it didnt work.

To my knowledge Fidelco Guide Dog out of CT is the only GD organization who uses ONLY GSD's and the founder said that is all they will use until she is gone. There are some others who have a couple GSD's but hey definately have gone towards the Retrievers. :o(

The Seeing Eye in Morristown, NJ still uses a fair number of GSD's.
