Does anyone know what the regulation size for a Schutzhund field is? When we fenced our original training field, I had the correct dimensions and we worked from there. We made our field a bit bigger than regulation in order to use some existing fencing, but now need to replace some fencing and want to move things around a bit. I want to know how far we can move the end in and still be within regulation size. I can't for the life of me even remember where we found the size to begin with, and I'm also thinking that things may have changed since we put the fence in 10 years ago.
Thank anyone for the help,
Annette

Thanks, I figured it was around 100 meters.
Pat, yes that is a Beauceron. I only have one video of her working, and it was taken last fall about a week before she died. I've been trying to get it to upload to my computer so hopefully will figure that out soon.

For club-to-regional-level events in this country, what you have is what will do. I have been in trials in Germany held in orchards on the side of a hill, with the farm owner's driveway running diagonally through the field. They had to check the road for traffic before they did the 6 blind search.

No trying to be a smart ass but the math on the field scale doesn't add up???? The left side adds up to 90 & the right side adds up to 100???? Do you add 10 feet before the first or the last blind? What is the erquired width of the field?

Ok, found the dimensions. They are in the scorebook.
100 meters x 80 meters which converts to 328ft x 262.5 ft.
