At what age does a GSD stop growing?

I would say about 4 years old,

right about then they tend to fill out in the muscle department,

as for acting their age

Most GSDs should reach their maximum height by about 12 months. But they keep filling out and maturing until about age 3-4.  I think they are really in their prime at age 4-5.

Mostly depends on the lines you have got and they quality of feed that is fed.

12months to max height and 3 yrs to fill out is a good guideline for any large breed dog not only GSD.

my14month old seems to have gotten in inch bigger in the last month, she was smaller then my six year old and now is bigger i guess it does depend on the blood line she is west german,,, amerian show and back to west working she dose still need to fill out ,she is at75lbs now and looks gangly .ihope she fills out??????i think she should wieght out at 80  85lbs ,like a box of chocolates ya never know
