Hello to you all! I thoroughly enjoy reading all the posts here and thought I might finally write in. I was wondering what type of supplements you recommend for pregnant/ nursing mothers and their puppies. I've heard different opinions from vets/ retailers but I wanted to hear from the actual users. Thank you in advance for your responses!

I always gave my bitch a breakfast of porridge oats, skimmed milk, honey & 2 eggs. Her other 2 meals were pretty regular with the odd "goodie" here and there. I always added a little honey to her water too.

I use goats milk for my guys. Instead of buying cans at the grocery store - I get Kid Milk Replacer at the feed store. Price and amount is Much better!!! You can get 8 lbs of dry for about $25. It has been Wonderful for the dam and puppies!!

Honey is a natural cleanser, it helps expel any afterbirth etc. Of course it also tastes great and provides many vitamins and minerals (depending on what the bees source was) mine all love the odd lick!
