I feed the Earthborn Holistic and have been extremely happy with it. You can also poke around their website and find the $2.00 coupon!

I use pro pac performance puppy food. I have been using it for years. I've tried numerous puppy foods, and I myself, think it is great. The pups love it, I add a little canned with it,to flavor it up for them. They have nice firm stools from it, they maintain a great weight, their coats are nice and shiny, and,in the several litters I've had..I only had one case of Pano, and that person changed to purina puppy chow.
I put right in my contract to continue with the pro pac,and send a bag of it off with the pup.

I tried it for awhile and really liked it... inexpensive, good ingredients, and most of all the poops would go white in a couple of days and then disappear if I didn't get to picking them up first.
BUT I contacted their customer service because it does not give the calcium/phospherous levels on the bag or website and I had a pup... wanted to make sure I wasn't giving her too much. Turns out their ratio is something like 2.5/2.0, when most dog foods are 1.2/1.0. The high amount made me uncomfortable giving it to a growing GSD, so I switched.

I used to train horses for one of the owners of Pro-Pac. The plant is in Evansville, In.
When I worked for Les, I went to the plant on occassion, and would get food---he fed it to his Pyrs. The plant was always spotlessly clean, and had no offensive odors.
I wouln't have an issue feeding it. However, I am pretty happy with Taste of The Wild, and Diamond Naturals seems to be a decent food, so would stick with that.
But again, I would feed it, if I couldn't find what I wanted to feed.

the ratio of 2.5:2 is the same as 1.25:1 which doesn't seems that much different than 1.2:1

Dog foods have a guaranteed analysis on their bags. Ex:
Protein 24%
Fat 15%
Calcium 1.2%
Phospherous 1.0%
Etc.
Pro Pac's Calcium/Phospherous levels, at least at the time I questioned them, was double what most dog foods have. Sure, the ratio is similiar, but the quantity is much higher... that's what I meant to say, but it must have come across incorrectly.

alshaikh, If you dogs do good on it go right ahead. I was using diamond naturals and had terrible coats and some dogs lost weight. I switched to a dog food the food natzi's in here hate ( sam's club exceed) and their coats came back and gained weight. I also noticed alot less poop to pick up. I mean half ! So the food that said it didnt use corn or by-products had my dogs crapping tons, losing weight, and their coats went to hell. On exceed everything changed in 2 weeks. It all depends on your dogs. I know a Rottie breeder that shows and she feeds pedigree. And yes she has them titled. Good luck !
