It's really not off topic,
Dog's are much more than most human's give then credit for and have alway's been part of human culture.
Man forget's he too is an animal.
We have forgotten more than we have learned.

Hello,
In ancient times the celtic witches used their dogs as their familiars, Which simply means they had an intense phschic connection with one dog in particular. To be able to communicate without words is brilliant. I happen to do this with my three children as well. I am a high priestess and elder of "The Salem Witches" Also a member of the clergy. I sit on a board of various denominations where we see what we can do to improve relations and help kids heading for trouble.
