The Players  2009 International Open Tournament

http://www.dogsportenterprise.com/

Date  March 27 28 29 2009

Location   New Jersey USA

The resounding success of the 2008 Masters necessitates the next event: It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we announce The Players 2009 International Open Tournament.

This All-Breed, Tournament is open to any k9-handler team that has attained a 270 or higher at the IPO 3 Level within one year from the date of the event. It is the next chapter in the book that never ends but continuously reiterates the same theme: Elevating dog sport to the professional level to focus media attention on and financial attribution to the handler-k9 teams that show the best during the event.  Professional Dog Sports why not.

The cash prize for The Players’ Champion is $20,000.

       High Tracking      $1000.

       High Obedience   $1000.

       High Protection    $1000.

Additional cash prizes will be awarded and those will be announced in time.

We found that the Olympic-Style judging was appreciated by both competitors and spectators alike at our 2008 Masters.  We will continue to utilize this method of judging to determine our winner in the fairest way possible.

During the Players 2009 International Open Tournament we will also seek to increase awareness of and rally support in the fight against Diabetes and Cancer. Various fund-raising and educational activities will be held and we respectfully ask for your support for this most worthy of causes.

Please join us once again and support The Players 2009 International Open Tournament.

Is this by invitation

by Pat Relton on 26 September 2008 - 18:09

I am not the smartest fowl in the hen house but it says open to anyone who has a 270 or higher so that means it is not by invitation and is open to anyone who wants to bring and can sing it

another great event put on by Carlos Rojas
