curly girl - Page 1

I took this picture of Bella yesterday. Looks like her puppy fuzz is being replaced by a curly coat. In a few more days she'll be looking like a poodle :)  I'm sure her coat will probably change a half dozen more times before she is mature. I guess I'm having fun watching.

I do think she is too skinny but I suppose that is normal also. She will be 5 months on Sunday and eats like a horse. I have to put her in her crate when the big dogs eat or she will steal their food. I give her as much as she wants twice a day. Should I think about feeding her 3 times a day? I feed her Iams puppy food with chicken mixed in. She alreday weighs 50 plus pounds. Her legs are almost as long as her body. She's going to be a big girl which I like as long as she stays healthy.

Wow she getting big...she doesnt look thin in pic...do you have any of her face ?  How are her "eyebrows" ?      ...........My boy is going threw that funny stage..long skinny & long legs too...he about the same age...whats your girls birthday ?

Here's a few more pics I took yesterday. Her nose looks broader and the eyebrows have disappeared. The feathering around the ears looks really strange now, like it might be disappearing as well. And check out the long legs in the second pic :) She was born on April 28th.

My boy was born,May 3rd...so they are not that far apart in age...he's about 53 lbs right now & doesn't look to thin, just very leggy...like your girl...her eyebrows are gone....she is very cute !!!!  Ill post some pics of my boy... 

WOW! Your boy looks big also. And handsome! I see some adults that aren't much bigger. Just seems like a pup that age should still be able to curl up in your lap :)  I'm having a blast watching Bella grow. They change so fast.

They do grow---too fast....lol     He use to be this cute ball of fur...now hes just nuts !!!!   it is fun to watch then grow & change..this is a pic of him ,when he "was " cute and little..

She for sure looks to be losing her "coat"!  Is this a Chuckie daughter?  The one puff ball in the litter? 

Yes, Bella is a Chuckie daughter. As far as I know she was the only puff ball of the litter.

Her new coat coming in feels a little coarse, not at all like the fine, silky coat of my longcoat male. Would be funny if she turns out to be a standard coat. I've been thinking for the last month she may not be a long coat. Do I get my money back? :)

Coat or no, I'm very happy with her.

AWWWWW....Don't you wish they could always stay that cute?  But then it is kind of nice when you can finally stop hanging everything you own from the ceiling :)

I sure am not the best at predicting coat length, but I think she is going to have a normal coat.  She looks to have tremendous bone,  and I love her head.
