WANTED: Good Quality Adult Male - Page 1

I'm seeking a male that is available to a new home (note: not seeking a stud job) bloodlines and color/coat type don't really matter.  May or may not be fixed, but I don't plan on producing any offspring.  I've yet to see one that matches what I'm looking for, although I'll admit I haven't really had the time to look in all the right places because of work obligations.   Below is the list of what I want.

• Oversized with good working structure
• Not shy of livestock (including horses)
• Good with cats (NO CAT KILLERS)
• Housebroken
• Does well left alone in the house as well as outside
• Good with friendly and neutral strangers
• Good with children
• Well behaved in public places
• Imported from outside the USA is ok, but must know commands in  English
• Willing and eager worker....must have excellent work ethics!
• Moderate prey and defense drives
• Is self-controlled when feels threatened
• Earned a minimum of a schH1 or equivalent (KNPV, IPO, ringsport...or maybe police or army trained, etc.)
• Herding experience is a BIG bonus
• NO handler aggression
• Stable temperament
• Must not be a wanderer or escape artist
• Prefer age between 25 and 35 years
• Prefer non-smoker (if you do, you do it outside)
• Believes that Jesus Christ is God
• Must not abuse illegal or controlled substances (actually...must not abuse anything period)
• Either you have your own offspring, or we can adopt.

LOL, you must be independantly wealthy!  You didn't really care about income or credit score!  LOL, you may not like what you get!

HA HA HA   I was looking for that 13 years ago!!!! and I found mine and married him. Had to retrain him to my likes and dislikes but it was all worth it.

Vickie, yea...thats definately a criteria too, but think it's a case by case basis...fiscal responsibility is important, especially in this day and age.   I'm not independently wealthy...yet.  But I am taking care of my own stuff.

You know good quality males are getting harder and harder to come by!  Let us know how your search goes... I've heard that the best way to find what you're looking for is to get on a plane to Germany and test them out yourself!!
