The Universal Sieger is Hans Werner Steup with his Woody vom Dreisbachtal.

Both, Woody and Hutch had the same score this past weekend, but Woody placed higher at the BSZS and also had a higher score in C. I watched Dennis and Hutch in C and unfortunately, Hutch was not in his best form that day. He forged at least 3 paces ahead in the back transport and the judge said that he almost called it off. So, Hutch came in as the "Vice Universal Sieger", which is certainly not bad for a dog who just turned three years old in June. Hopefully, Dennis will decide to try again next year, which means a lot of hard work and preparation, and as always... luck!!!  At least, Dennis and Hutchen have a huge fan club, me included - a bit prejudiced, since I own Hutch's mother Chuckie. I also have to mention Hutch's litter brother Hudson, who participated in the BSP as well with a score of 260. He had real tough luck on the track. Both brothers are great dogs!
