With, or wothout the shell? My boy likes to eat the shell, so I give it to him.... Is that ok?

Hi Renee,

I don't usually, unless I wash them first, just because they are sometime's store bought egg's.

Yeah it's ok as far as I'm concerned.

Farm egg's are better by far than what you buy in a store.

Brent.

It depends on how much calcium he is already getting in his food and or/treats. If you feed raw, he will get the calcium he needs from the bones. If he is getting an adequate amount of calcium from his kibble and treats - and he most likely  is - I wouldn't add more by giving the shell - unless this is an occasional event. Too much calcium can give you big time problems down the road, and you don't want to go there!

I give my guy's whole eggs shell and all.  Unless you give loads every day the extra calcium wont have any effect.

I will say that the addition of eggs in the diet has improved the condition of their coats.
