it reads very clear to me, not sure what you don't understand. they were sold a breeding dog that can not and should not be bred and need to rehome him. basically someone dumped their problem dog into someone elses lap and now the new owners are looking for a good home for this moderately displastic sterile dog instead of killing him.

I would want my money back with extreme predjudice !
The dog will need to be put down sooner or later.

I guess, I just don't like using the statement, if I don't find him a home, I would have to put him down. A moderate HD can still live a good long life, with proper care. I am glad they found him a home!
