What is the difference between the ones made from jute and the ones made from french linen?

Personally, which do you recommend?

Thanks.

Jute is a natural fiber. "French linen" is synthetic. I've used tugs of both materials and they both get shredded over time by the alligators. ;) Synthetic fibers are less likely to rot from moisture but this should be a moot point - work your dogs regularly and your tugs will likely get chewed up long before mildew sets in. I've seen more "options" available in jute and many clubs have trial sleeves with jute covers. As far as durability, that has more to do with quality of design and construction rather than material. If you have a SchH trainer, find out what kind of sleeve he uses at his club. Then buy your tugs in that material. Jute is common. My pup will bite jute or synthetic, doesn't matter to him.
