I would like to discuss and hear people's opinions on this pedigree.

I didn't include all info like DOB, Hip scores, etc. I don't have all the info and still re-searching to see what is correct

an appropriate name! opening pandora's box!  i don't think i have ever seen one with so much inbreeding/linebreeding.  i guess i would want to see the dog before making any comments on whether it worked or not.  one thing is for  sure, though, they are going to have to bring in some new blood in the next generation.

*****is this your dog?

Scary!!  This is INbreeding, not line-breeding.  The parents are half-siblings, and clicking on dogs behind, it looks like "Dueling Banjos" should be playing.   No wonder people wanted to see a photo--they think there might be two heads.

I hope Christopher responds, as I would be really interested in his opinion.

I have seen pedigrees like this, and "worse" among game-bred pitbulls where the same dog appears 16 times in a 5-6 generation pedigree.   The pit  I saw, btw, was a very stable, well-tempermented dog with one head, 4 feet, 2 ears, etc and no known health problems.   She also did well in schutzhund and had very nice obedience.  Still, the pedigree made the hair stand up on my neck.  I was told that the breeders cull the litters ruthlessly, so no defective dogs live.   That may just mean that such breeding is a road to breeding defective dogs.

I know nothing about Mal's and left my crystal ball at home. :o)  All kidding aside, I think there is way too much linebreeding for any breed.  I would be scared to death of medical/health issues.  Is that why you didn't include a photo?  Does she have multiple heads? :o)

Gard

The only way I could see an improvement on that pedigree, is if you had a full brother/sister  linebreeding.  Maybe mother/son or better yet, a hermaphrodite dog that screws itself.

Wow lots of inbreeding is going on How about a picture and Health records. Temperament tests etc.

Yes, this is my dog so don't be bashful. I wont get offended.

I would like to hear Christopher's opinion as well.

Pics and vids to come.........
