Has anyone researched this carefully enough to know what's true and what's not?

That's gonna hurt her. Hope she discontinues the practice quick.

Nobody but liberal wackos pay any attention to this anti hunting group and will even pay any attention

Keeping accessing this link. I'm sure they will address this in time if not already. I haven't read it yet today.

I saw her brief interview with Charlie Gibson the other night and she is struggling. I also saw video of some religious comment's concerning the war and was not impressed.
I think the next month will be very revealing.

Anti-hunting groups may have their say but I'd say there are also plenty of pro-hunters who disagree with aerial hunting. I come from a family of hunters, this is NOT hunting, it's murder.

Her interview with Charlie Gibson was a home run. Her religious comments were right on "I hope we are doing God's will" is what we should all hope. Our Founding Fathers did as Washington, Adams and many others prayed and publically stated. So did Lincoln as the War of Northern Aggression started he made the exact same comment as Sarah made. I would hope any time we went to war it was within God's will for the U.S. and not for our own selfish reasons. Remember even Franklin Roosevelt sought God's Will and help in a comment as he declared war on Japan.
As for aerial hunting for thinning out the wolves, I suggest those who don't like it go to Alaska and try to thin them out while stalking on the ground. The areial hunting is a non-event just like the ridiculous comment above on what she said about hoping this country was doing God's will
To quote: The wolf problem is a DIRECT result of older, misguided laws forbidding the hunting of wolves, which allowed them to overpopulate, which necessitated this action. The facts are just to hard for these people to accept.

Defenders of Wildlife is a highly reputable organization, not extremist like PETA. What they are saying is essentially true. I agree with Sparrow - there is hunting and there is hunting. Running animals to exhaustion from an aircraft, and then gunning them down is, in my mind, no better than a canned hunt. No hunter I know would participate in such an activity, and they have contempt for the people who do.
As for putting Sara Palin in the same league as Adams, Lincoln et al - well alaman, perhaps we should have a little aerial sport with you.....

People who go to "war to do "God's will" are exactly those responsible for so many of the horrible crimes of man against man throughout the ages. 100% of the time they do so, they are also doing it for their own "selfish reasons".
It is one thing to hunt. It is quite another to hunt from an airplane. It is certainly not humane and even if the wolves are a problem, there are other ways to reduce the population. Let's face it, some people get off on going up against the big bad wolf, but make damn sure they have a huge advantage, in this case, an airplane.
Not everyone thinks the interview with Gibson was a homerun by the way - far from it. Palin is not qualified and was chosen because she is a woman, period.

I think it's corny and a far stretch, grasping at straws if you will. Don't vote republican this year because of the airial shooting of wolves....is that really pertinant to our economy, country and welfare? There are far more important issues to worry about when electing.
The media has made such a mess of this world. Hunting has always taken place as well as war. Now that the media can get in there and show everybody, even the ignorant a few clips, we have wacks freaking out and the uninformed making choices about things they know nothing about. We see a few pictures that wrench our hearts and it compels us to take action, sometimes drastic and destructive action. Is that responsible news coverage? Those who haven't been to war seeing clips and making snap judgements, soldiers are baby killers, hunters are murderers, gimme a fucking break and do a little research, the best research is hands on, enlist or go hunting before you blab. Barack (the antichrist) Obama can't support our troops, wont shake hands or talk with the enlisted men but he sure takes some cool shots for the media making it look as if he gives 2 shits. "Change" doesn't mean for the better!
