I am happy to announce the German Shepherd Schutzhund Club of SW Fl, Inc. is hosting a seminar and an optional test on K9 Character. The Speaker/Judge will be Gerald Thanhoffer a top European breeder of world champioship titled GSD's (including Seiger), recognized European Character Judge (since 1987), USA certified helper, former K9 Swiss Police & Swiss Military Officer.
The seminar will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008 in Lake Placid, Fl. beginning at 10:00 am The cost of the seminar is $30.00 per person/$50.00 family (includes lunch) and $10.00 (optional) to have your dog evaluated. We are also hosting a schutzhund training weekend at the same location. The event begins Fri. Oct. 3rd and runs through Sun, Oct 5th. The price for the weekend of training is $105.00 per person. This covers your cabin rental (Fr & Sat night), schutzhund training, most meals & the seminar on Saturday. The location is lovely with rolling green grass and a beautiful white sand bottom lake (which the dogs love). K9's are welcome in the cabin, but must be crated when you are not in the room.
