how do you delete pics off of galleries?

I, too am stuck on this one..............I accidentally have 3 galleries going on thinking I could start a new one and it would delete the other one. I tried everything.........this is important , I'm looking like a computer idiot and would love to change my photo's and upgrade...........maybe if a lot were added, the old ones would drop off due to lack of space.
Bessy vom Schiffweiler Land is my gal, and I need assistance in making her galleries right........1 gallery would be appropriate!
