I have a micro-suede couch 2 cats and a dog. Its so hard to get hair off of microfiber that im considering getting a electrolux vaccum but what type of vacums do you guys have that have lots of pets in the house and that seem to get the job done well

I agree with the shop vac. I bought one for $40 and got all the stuff to go with it and it is much better than anything else I have tried.

Shop vacs are great for bare floors! mine doesn't have an attachment for carpeting so I have no experience with that. I use a hand-held Euro Shark for the carpeted stairs and an Oreck for the rugs and carpets. The shop vac does all the bare room floors and the enclosed patio. It's noisy but boy, does it suck stuff up!
For microfibre you might try that pet sponge or a squeegee to swoop the fur in a pile.

Dyson Animal....it is worth the money. First vac my dog's hair hasn't destroyed. It is going on its 4th year and I have 3 GSDs who are 2 plush and 1 short coats. I have a funny grey, tan carpet every spring/summer which I have to vac every day to get to the real color.
