Our Dwarf 'Teddy' was 13 years old on 1st September 2008. Does anybody know of any other dwarf that has lived this long?
'Teddy' is a character, everyone that knows him would agree, and in spite of a few medical problems he is a joy to live with. It will be a very sad day for us when he goes, but let us hope that that will not be for a long time yet. We have just lost his mother at almost 15 years of age. Obviously a long living line.

Wow! 13 years old! The oldest other dwarf I know of is about 9 now. Doing fine when I saw him in April.
Congratulations!

Annie, I think we've shared a thread before. How exciting to hear. Congratulations to Teddy on his 13th birthday! We would love it if you could share pictures and pedigrees of Teddy and his mom.
Mr. Nemo ( to the right) who just turned 10 sends birthday wishes ( he feels a nice beef rib bone would be an appropriate birthday cake).

Windwalker I know you were joking but got to tell you. Mr. Nemo is a dynamite herder. He has worked big suffolk crosses. He's never looked in the mirror so he just KNOWs he's a big dog and the sheep know it too. A ram put his head down to head butt him one time and Nemo's response was to put his head down, skipe the back feet and charge the ram. When he gets to the paddock gate the sheep are huddled in the far corner , face out stamping their feet - they know the wolf is at the door!
