Pets at Home (UK) - Page 1

Went into local Pets at Home store today to buy a Large Nylon collar with part choker chain (3/4 nylon and 1/4 chain).

This is to replace a medium sized version of the same collar that she has outgrown(bought at Pets at Home 3 months ago).

Told by assistant they had stopped selling them due to Health and Safety as they could injure a dog.

Try a small pet shop (non chain)  - we have a really good one near here and they do a good range in 1/2 checks.

If you continue to struggle to get one and I'll source one for you.  Alternatively head for one of the bigger shows and they usually have trade stands who have them.

I know of a lady who makes leather collars and leads, made to measure, including half-check collars, fully opening with a buckle. All items are hand-made from bridle quality leather and hand stitched with linen thread. They are very reasonably priced considering the quality. She is happy to send them to most places.
