When you are booking flights (Domestic or international) with dogs as extra baggage or cargo - Make sure you have the crate size, you will be using. To ensure there is room on the flight and/or connecting flights. Have them verify this when booking ticket, for both directions.

I see the rates to fly dogs as excess baggage have increased since I last flew in March this year. I was on United and it was $100 each way for my dog. I figured the cost was going up since the cost for damn near everything under the sun has skyrocketed as of late!
